MONTREAL
A/K/A - The Village Idiot
The next we received a call from Greyhound
Friends West, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts that they had a Big Blue
Girl on hold for us for adoption. We hopped in the car and a few short hours
later, our family has grown to 3! Montreal came out of the kennel wagging
her tail and her tongue and has yet to stop. She was young when we got her,
still under 2 years old. Her personality is all puppy. She has been a goof
ball from the beginning. She has very few greyhound traits, including the
intelligence greyhounds are known for. Our vet and trainer have both described
her as a "Lab, trapped in a Greyhounds body." She absolutely adores children,
always ready with a kiss for them. Montreal is one of the most openly affectionate
greys we have ever seen. Her antics keep us laughing!!! She is larger than
MaggieMae or Charter and just cant seem to coordinate paws and body unless
running. She truly enjoys to run. leaving her sisters far behind, when she
decides to turn on the speed. We affectionately refer to her as "The Village
Idiot" because, although she tries to stay out of trouble it rarely happens...
